How our pricing works
Every job is different, so we price the job rather than handing you a rate card and a stopwatch. Send photos and a short description (sizes, brands, what’s wrong) and we’ll come back with a price. For bigger or harder-to-judge jobs, we may need to see it in person first.
A few things affect the price more than anything else:
- How many jobs you bundle. The first job carries the travel and setup. Every extra job on the same visit is better value.
- Materials. You can supply them, or we’ll pick them up and include them in the quote.
- Access and surprises. Concrete walls, high ceilings, seized valves or rot behind a surface can add time. If we find something unexpected, we’ll stop and talk to you before doing extra work.
Jobs we pass to licensed trades
Being a good handyman means knowing where the job ends. We don’t do work that legally needs a licensed electrician, plumber or gas fitter, or a permit: new circuits, panel work, new plumbing lines, moving drains, gas appliance connections, structural changes or roofing. We’ll gladly do the parts around that work, like patching drywall after an electrician has been in.
Not sure which service fits?
It doesn’t matter. Text a photo to 780-566-1352 and describe what’s going on in a sentence or two. We’ll tell you if it’s something we do, roughly what it’ll take, and if not, who you should call instead.
